well thanks for that Stuey, I did not want to do any lesson planning anyway. I watched both episodes. I got to see myself at age 25 with Jack Charlton - I never thought I would get to see that footage. Chris Watts ran the group but I was there all the time with the camera crew.
A blast from the past! Sadly, Lester Davies, the Warden of OB Ullswater at the time, passed away a few years ago, but he lives on in clips like this and the myriad stories about him. It was a most rewarding week with lots of interesting characters, including of course, Big Jack, who all contributed to its success. I still dine out on it, as they say!
